GBWA Board of Directors
The Gresham-Barlow Web Academy and its subsidiary program Metro East Early College Academy (MEECA) is a non-profit corporation/charter school under the sponsorship of the Gresham-Barlow School District. Incorporated in 2009 under state and federal regulation, the school operates as a separate and independent public entity. The “charter” is a contractual agreement between the GBWA and the GBSD. The new contract term is July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2017.
A self-sustaining Board of Directors is responsible for the successful operation of the corporation. This includes hiring the Chief Executive Officer/Principal and fiscal oversight. The board consists of three to nine members. Current members include:

- Cathy Sherick, Secretary
- Johnnie Driessner, Director
- David Atherton, Director
The Board meets on a regular basis as listed below:
